What happens when Sicilian tradition meets Japanese artistry?


Join us on September 22nd as we welcome Chef Erwin Angeles, owner of Kihon, for a collaboration unlike anything we’ve done before.


Sicily meets Japan, crudo meets sashimi, and two island cultures come together around a shared love of fresh seafood, exceptional ingredients, and the joy of gathering around the table during this one-of-a-kind experience.


Hosted by 83-year-old Nonna Mary, her daughter Debra, and Chef Erwin, this intimate, hands-on experience brings together the warmth and traditions of old-world Sicily with the precision and artistry of Japanese cuisine.


Together, you’ll prepare a unique menu from scratch—including salmon crudo & sashimi, an Italian-inspired salmon tataki, traditional Japanese onigiri, and Sicilian salmoriglio—while discovering the stories, traditions, and culinary influences behind each dish.
